Carrying on with the story of the Ladurée dream, we couldn’t leave out the “birth” of the so called “Tea Rooms”. Louis Ernest Ladurée’s wife, Jeanne Sauchard, had the idea of mixing styles. The combination of The Parisian Café and Pastry Shop gave birth to one of the first tea rooms in Paris, the "Salon de Thé" on the rue Royale.
