Once upon a time

The Ladurée Dream founded in 1862 in Paris by Louis Ernest Ladurée at first as a bakery and then transformed into a pastry shop. As women wanted to make new acquaintances the idea of the first tea rooms “salon de the” came in Paris. A mixing style of a Parisian café and pastry shop, where women enjoyed meeting in the freedom of the tearoom rather than their homes.

The story of the Ladurée macaron starts in the early part of the 20th century with Pierre Desfontaines, Louis Ernest Ladurée grandson, who first thought of taking two macaron shells and joining them with a delicious ganache filling. The recipe has not changed since.

Beauté by Ladurée was founded in 2002 as one of the five brand sectors of Ladurée Paris, bringing the Parisian atmosphere, the elegance and the quality in the interior with its Candles and Home Fragrances, inspired by Ladurée macarons scents and colors. A world of scent imbued with tenderness, a mixture of fragrances and colours in elegant and bright gift boxes.

The handmade candles come in a beautiful biscuit china pot, engraved in the various Ladurée emblematic colours, the Ladurée green, the sugared-almond pink, the charcoal grey, the lilac violet, the daffodil yellow, the pale blue, the black of the night…

Once the candle is completely burnt, you can keep the China biscuit pot and turn it into a flower vase, pencil holder, jewelry or makeup pot…

The perfume bottles have a delicate pump spray, for beautiful, graceful application. Each bespoke fragrance invites you into an elegant, timeless world, in a very Parisian atmosphere.
